Open Admissions Policy

Ideal Girls High School has an “Open Admissions” policy. This means that the school accept all students, whatever their primary school exam results.

O level

Even with our Open Admission policy, since 2009, 93% of candidates from Ideal Girls High School have passed O level. In 2009 and 2012 100% of the students passed. At Ideal Girls High School we are proud to be able to help even “average” students to pass O level.

A Level

In 2014, the first year of S6, 100% of IGHS candidates passed at least one subject at A level.

For all Mbale district celebrations 2011 to 2015, Ideal Girls High School was chosen to represent all schools in the district. The district leaders enjoy the creativity and good behaviour of our students.
